Airdroid, Transfer Data without Data cable

Many times there comes a time when you want to transfer some data to or from your Android device (Phone/Tablet) but you can't get or don't want to plug the data cables.
Well now you don't have, in comes Airdroid.

All you need is a WiFi connection, a PC, and an Android device.

KINGSOFT OFFICE 2013, a Polished and Capable Office Suite

We have a new office suite in town, KINGSOFT Office 2013.
In this suite we have, Writer, Presentation, and Spreadsheet.

In my limited trial the software worked and behaved nicely with the fact that it clearly states being in Alpha stage. 

The compatibility with MS Office is good and according to some, better than our LibreOffice. Note that we still don't have support for saving in MS Office 2007 formats, i.e. .docx, .xlsx, .pptx although it opens documents in those formats okay.

Nevertheless you should try it out and see whether it works for you or not.

sudo apt-get update

Then launch the software updater/update manager and upgrade your system, in case you don't have LibreOffice installed, install it from the Software Center.
